Jennifer Garner Took the Kids for Ice Cream at a New England Farm

Imagine working your summer job scooping ice cream when all of a sudden an A-List celebrity appears in your line!

According to Boston.com, Jennifer Garner was spending some time in the Plymouth county of Massachusetts over the weekend. She strolled into Hornstra Dairy bar in Nowell, Mass with her three kiddos Violet, 13, Seraphina, 10, and Samuel, 7. (side note: I can't believe Violet is 13! I remember when she was born because I loved the name! I still do!)

Those who met Garner at Hornstra Dairy Bar said that she was beautiful inside and out, the article reported. She was kind and gracious to the employees who asked to pose with her for an Instagram photo. She only bought herself a bottle of water and treated the kids to ice cream, so I guess saying no to ice cream is part of maintaining that girlish figure!

She and ex-hubby Ben Affleck must be splitting some time in Massachusetts.

Garner is originally from West Virginia but Affleck spent most of his childhood in the Bay State. He moved to Falmouth Massachusetts at the age of three and then the fam relocated to Cambridge a few years later.

Ben was spotted spending time with his three children a few days earlier in Cape Cod.
