I know some people don't agree, but I think it's really cool that we live in part of the country that famous people want to come visit. I find it exciting to think about Martha Stewart ordering a lobster roll at my favorite seafood restaurant in Maine or Seth Rogen crushing beers at my favorite New Hampshire brewery. Now, we can add another celeb to the list of famous people who have visited Northern New England this year; ladies and gentlemen put your hands together for JIMMY FALLON!

I always assumed that Jimmy hailed from Massachusetts since so many funny people do; Amy Poehler, Mindy Kaling, John Krasinski, just to name a few! To my surprise Jimmy is actually from Brooklyn, New York. However, he is no stranger to New England. He was spotted visiting StoryLand in Glen, New Hampshire just last year during much simpler times.

According to the Bangor Daily News, Jimmy also has visited Lubec, Maine back in 2017 to hang with his pal (and SNL writer and producer) Lorne Michaels. The paper states that Lorne Michaels bought a farm and 5,000 acres North of Josh Pond back in 2009 for 1.45 million. That doesn't sound like a bad place to quarantine.

Jimmy posted a photo this past weekend at the iconic Down East lighthouse. His post said he was "visiting a friend" and we can only assume that the friend is Lorne Michaels.

I learned from his caption that Lubec, Maine, is the easternmost point in the continental United States. This means that when the sun rises, you see it there first! How cool is that? Of course Jimmy got up early to enjoy this fact and seize the day. He proceeded to make a SUNday pun. Well, done sir!
