July 2021 Was an Epic Month for WOKQ Sessions

You never know is going to grace our #WOKQsessions stage! In the past we have welcomed artists like Lo Cash, Tenille Arts, Dylan Scott, Runaway June just to name a few. It is a real treat to see these artists perform in such an intimate space.

Our listeners get to ask the artists questions, take photos with them, and when they leave we all feel like best friends! It is thrilling to follow these artists' careers and watch them take off. Then we get to say "Hey! I remember watching _______ perform with 15 other people and now they sell out big 'ole venues!

July 2021 was an epic month! We had some incredible talent grace our WOKQ Sessions stage. Let's take a look back, shall we?

Caitlyn Smith

This talented lady opened up for Old Dominion at the Bank of NH Pavilion and she has a song with them too which we LOVE! Speaking of songs, remember the Meghan Trainor and John Legend SMASH "Like I'm Gonna Lose You"? SHE WROTE THAT! We loved having this sassy lassy visit us at WOKQ.

Ian Munsick

This Wyoming-born singer/songwriter grew up playing everything from bluegrass to the Beatles. He describes himself as a progressive artist with an old soul. He is breathing that fresh Rocky mountain air into the Nashville music scene and his career is just getting started. We loved meeting this cool cat!

Matt Stell

All WOKQ Sessions are special, but Matt Stell's first Session might take the cake. Let's just say it was a very memorable because two of our listeners, Steve and Lisa from Madison, got engaged right on our sessions stage! Don't you just love love?!

Obviously we were thrilled to have Matt back on the WOKQ Sessions stage! You best believe we invited Steve and Lisa to the event and he played their song "Prayed for You".

Seaforth

Tom and Mitch are a couple of pals from Australia who moved to Music city to pursue their dream of being country music superstars. Move over Keith Urban, there are a couple of new Aussies on music row!

They were just as funny and as talented as ever. We loved having the boys of Seaforth visit us again!
