Lighting Strikes Twice For One New England Man Who Won $1M Twice

Talk about lucky!  Rolf Rhodes has to be the luckiest guy in Medon, Mass.

He has won the lottery not once, but twice in the last 18 months, according to 7News Boston, and he won them playing scratch offs!

The news station reports that Rhodes purchased the winning ticket, from the “$4,000,000 Instant Jackpot” game at the Imperial Gas and Country Store on Millville Road in Medon, Mass. He opted to take a one-time payment of $650,000 on that win in May of 2018.

Feeling lucky, Rhodes kept on playing, according to the news station.

They say you can’t win if you don’t play.  I think if I won once I would call it a day and bless my stars for winning once but Rhodes was unstoppable.

According to 7News Boston, he purchased a “Hit the $1,000” $10 instant game ticket from the Mac Package Store on Prospect Street in Milford and hit again.  This time he is choosing to take the annuity option and receive 20 annual payments of $50,000.
