For years, Ron Bard of Litchfield has been collecting toys and memorabilia from his childhood and now he is selling it all at auction.

In an article from the Sun Journal, Ron and his wife Rita say they have been picking up things in their travels all over the world to add to their collection of toys and memorabilia for over 30 years, but now it's time to sell the massive collection in the building he built to house it called "Ron's Toy Box."

When Roy was young, he didn't get to have toys, so once he became successful and wealthy, he started collecting all the things he wished he had as a kid.

His collection is estimated to be worth over $1 million and is now in the hands of an auction company that will sell items off on his behalf, which will likely net him more than $1 million. Why sell it? Ron and Rita say it's simply time to do something different.
