A Local Casino Could Be Coming To Littleton, NH Soon
They’re Talking About a Casino in Littleton… and I’m Not Mad About It
I’m not saying I’ve ever driven out of my way for a blackjack table… but I’m also not not saying that.
So when I saw the news about a possible casino coming to Littleton in the Nashua Ink Link, my first thought wasn’t “hmm, interesting story…” It was… “wait… how far of a drive is that?” I looked. It's about 2 hours and 10 minutes North on I-93
Because if you’re anything like me, little bit of blackjack, maybe a few spins on the slots, nothing crazy, you know there’s just something fun about it. It’s not even about winning (okay… it’s a little about winning). It’s the vibe. The energy. The “just one more hand” feeling.
And now that could be coming to the North Country.
According to a recent report, developers are planning to start construction as soon as this summer, with a target opening sometime in early 2027.
The plan? A smaller, more local-style casino, we're not talking Vegas-level, but still legit. Think around 150 to 200 gaming machines, plus table games like blackjack, poker, roulette… basically enough to get yourself into just enough trouble for a night out.
They’re also talking about adding a restaurant inside, which, is a huge part of the experience. Because there’s something about sitting down after a couple hands, grabbing food, and replaying that one hand you definitely should’ve hit on.

Now here’s where it gets interesting…
This wouldn’t just be about gaming. A portion of the revenue would go to local charities, with estimates saying it could bring in up to $2 million a year for nonprofits in the area.
So yeah, it’s entertainment, but it’s also “good for the community” too.
Of course, not everyone is on board. Some people are worried about what comes with it. The traffic, gambling concerns, all the things, which is totally fair. That conversation is happening in pretty much every town that looks at something like this.
I get it. What do you think? Would you go? Do you care? Let us know on the station app
