Longtime Friends of WOKQ Return to Rollinsford, NH for a Special Holiday Performance
Jon Ryan, Dave Guisti, Montario Hill, Wallace Thomas and Ben Detty make up the pop a cappella band, 'Ball in the House.'
If their name sounds familiar, it should. Ball in the House are longtime-friends of WOKQ. They have entertained our listening audience throughout the years by performing on the radio and in person at concerts throughout the Granite State.
Now, you can catch them in person in Rollinsford, New Hampshire when they come back to the Garrison Players Arts Center.
Ball in the House and Mixtape: An A Cappella Christmas
Saturday, December 15th
Show Time: 7pm
Tickets: $18 adults, $15 students
And, as is customary for this band, they won't just be entertaining, they're also helping our community. The show will benefit Community Action Partnership of Strafford County. They're asking if you can, please consider bringing non-perishable (non-expired) food items, personal care items, toiletries or gift cards to either Hannaford or Market Basket.
I've seen these men perform numerous times and they bring the house down every single night. This is a great way to get in the holiday spirit. They will be performing a blend of traditional songs and newer Christmas & holiday favorites, all done in Ball in the House’s unique a cappella style.
This year, Ball in the House will be bringing along a band called MixTape, who are from Dover!
Based out of Boston, BiTH is an a cappella group that performs R&B/Soul and Pop. The group has traveled around the world and has opened for such acts as:
The Beach Boys, The Jonas Brothers, The Temptations, Fantasia, Gladys Knight, Lionel Richie, Jessica Simpson, Blondie, Smokey Robinson, KC & The Sunshine Band, Diamond Rio, Colin Raye, Orleans, and more!
For six years, they were the voices behind all the Cool Whip (who doesn't remember Fa La La La La French Vanilla) commercials and recently wrote and performed the jingle for Amazon’s Prime Day. Ball in the House has appeared on America’s Got Talent, The TODAY Show, The Daily Buzz, the Philadelphia 4th of July Parade, and SBS Culture Club and MBC News in Seoul, South Korea.
Make sure you keep up-to-date with the latest happenings of Ball in the House by following them on their Facebook, Twitter and other social media pages.
