Maine Mother & Step Father Charged In Girls Death

(Bangor, Maine) - Maine State Police have arrested 51 year old Julio Carrillo and 33 year old Sharon Carrillo on murder charges for the weekend death of the woman's 10-year old daughter.

The couple was arrested Monday evening after an autopsy concluded that the death of Marrissa Kennedy was a homicide. The cause of death was not released.

Authorities were called to a condo in Stockton Springs Sunday afternoon for an unresponsive child. First Responders determined that the child was dead and State Police were called in to investigate.

Two other children, aged 1 and 2, were also staying at the Harbor View Drive condo, owned by the mother's parents. They are now in the custody of the Maine Department of Health and Human Services.
