Maine Murder Suspect Faces a Court Appearance Monday

(Norridgewock, Maine) - 29-year-old John Williams is charged in connection with the shooting death of Somerset County Deputy Sheriff Eugene Cole last Wednesday morning.

Williams was apprehended Saturday afternoon after a four-day manhunt.

He was held over the weekend in a maximum security cell at the Maine State Prison in Warren.

Officials have not released details about a possible motive for the shooting.

He faces a court appearance on Monday.
