Maine State Police Have A New Leader
(Augusta, Maine) - John Cote was sworn in Monday as the new Chief of the Maine State Police.
Governor Paul LePage administered the oath. Cote is a 29-year veteran of the force, spending the past two years as Deputy Chief.
He is a former Commanding Officer of Troop F in Houlton.
Cote's 82 year old father, Morris Cote, pinned the Chiefs badge on his son Monday.
