The Treworgy Family Orchard in Levant, Maine has wowed people since they started their corn maze back in 2001. Back then the concept and the maze was a bit more simple than it is these days. It was a giant piece of popcorn.

With the wild success of their piece of popcorn, every year they outdo themselves! And if the magnificent corn maze wasn't enough, they include a special map with riddles to figure out as you visit 'stations' inside the maze. When you complete the puzzle and bring your ticket to the cafe, you get a free kiddie vanilla, chocolate, or twist soft-serve ice cream cone!

If you should find yourself in the middle of the corn maze - you can sign your name on the Hall of Fame Board.

This year's maze is open now! It's pretty spectacular of Winnie the Pooh and Piglet!

Treworgy's owner, Jonathan Kenerson, told WABI5,

You know, honestly one of our favorite characters of literature. And so, we went back to the original A. A. Milne book and got Winnie the Pooh and Piglet and figured out how to make a maze around them.

How do they do that?

It starts with an idea that everyone in the family helps with. Then, comes the planting with carved pathways, creating maps, and setting up the fun 'stations' with riddles.

They plant about 60,000 stalks for the 4-acre maze, and most of the stalks grow up to 10 feet tall. The extra height makes the maze more challenging and fun! When it is over, they till the stalks back into the ground to increase the soil’s fertility for the next year.

Word of advice on how to handle a corn maze like no other. If you feel you are lost, keep moving! Oh and DON'T cut through the corn. Serious party foul.
