Man Versus Robot – Who Are You Rooting For? [POLL]

Our robot overlords have already exhibited their dominance in Jeopardy and chess, courtesy of Watson and Deep Blue. Now they're ready take ping pong from us! Do we sacks of meat stand a chance? And who are you rooting for?

Robots, for now at least, are built by people-- so I'm kinda split on who to cheer on. To see the absolutely amazing potential of robotics take another step forward is certainly a sign that we live in an incredible age. But on the other hand, how can you not root for the flesh and blood? I think we intuitively know it is only a matter of time before a robot is unbeatable at whatever venture we throw at it, so watching a man skilled at his craft hold back the robot overlords, if for only one day and only via table tennis, seems to me to make the choice easy. So, again, who are you rooting for?
