Happy Pets Go to Manchester’s Mutt Strutt for 2024

Who doesn't love a good dog show?  Who knows, maybe it will turn into a fashion show of sorts, maybe similar to the Westminster Dog Show.

It's back for another year in Manchester, so if you have a purebred or mutt, all are welcome to the Friends of the Manchester Animal Shelter 2024 Mutt Strutt.

Plenty of pooches will be strutting their stuff at Livingston Park on May 19, 2024, from 10 AM to 2 PM, but there's so much more at this paw-some event.   There will be vendors and pet-related activities sure to make your whole family laugh and enjoy the day.

All members are invited, but especially the furry family members.  The "strutt" is actually a one-mile walk round Dorrs Pond, but tickets are required.  The ticket includes an event T-shirt you can wear or put on your dog.  Ok, the organizers didn't include that last part, but you really do get a T-shirt with your ticket. After all, it is a fundraiser for the shelter.

Watch for these potential events, including a kids agility course, K-9 agility course, kids crafts, and a doggie pool area.  It's not until May, so the ideas may change, but one thing's for sure, the cuteness and energy will be there for the entire event.
