I have to be candid with you for a second. I have been terrified of Marilyn Manson since I was a little kid. I have vivid memories of being over my best friend’s house in middle school. Her sister loved Marilyn Manson and her bedroom wall was covered in posters of the guy. When she wasn’t home we would dare each other to go in her room with the lights off and see who could last the longest without getting scared. I could never make it longer than 10 seconds. Now, it has come out he has allegedly assaulted a videographer at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion so I continue to be scared of this man.

According to the Gilford Police Deparment, Manson who’s real name is Brian Hugh Warner, has an active arrest warrant for two counts of Class A misdemeanor Simple Assault stemming from a 2019 incident at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion. According to the laws in New Hampshire a class A misdemeanor could mean jail time for the singer (less than one year)  and a fine of $2,000.00 or less. It was specified on the Gilford PD’s post that the assault charges are not sexual in nature. WMUR states the singer got on all fours and spat at the videographer's camera multiple times while she was in the pit area. An onlooker watched the female videographer clean her camera off multiple times before finally packing up her camera and storming off.

Manson took to Instagram to respond to these allegations:

It’s pretty gross to spit at a camera but should it be considered performance art? What do you think about these allegations?
