Massachusetts Pawn Shop Bought A Stolen $250,000 Violin For $50
I'm not sure how they'd handle a situation like this on Pawn Stars, but I have a feeling Rick would probably have to call in a friend of his to have a look.
The guy at the LBC Boutique and Loan in Somerville, Massachusetts sounds a lot like Chumlee from Pawn Stars. He had absolutely no idea what he was buying when he paid $50 for a one-of-a-kind violin that was made in 1759 by master craftsmen Ferdinando Gagliano.
According to Boston.com, the violin is worth $250,000. The store manager told Boston.com the bow alone is worth $16,000 to $18,000. Cops say the violin was stolen during a house break-in. It has now been returned to the owner.
