Miranda Lambert Helps Animal Shelter in Massachusetts

Now is the time to adopt and give a pet in need a forever home.  According to whdh.com, Country Singer Miranda Lambert has donated $150,000 to animal shelters across the country, including the Scituate Animal Shelter of Massachusetts.  Because of her generous donation, the Scituate Animal Shelter will offer pet adoptions for NO FEE until July 19^th.

Because of many factors, summer is a slow time at adoption/shelters. According to whdh.com people are busy with vacations; the kids are home from school and life takes over, but pets need homes all year round.  Some shelters are filled to capacity.  Now is the time to act.

Animal lover Miranda Lambert’s donation will help many animals who might not otherwise be adopted.  I am looking to add to my family by getting an older cat.  Older pets can be very difficult to place and I need a snuggle pet!
