Jordan: 3 killed, including 2 Americans, in police shooting
A Jordanian government spokesman says a Jordanian policeman opened fire Monday on foreign trainers at a police compound, killing two Americans and a South African before being shot dead. Mohammed Momani told the state news agency Petra that two Americans and four Jordanians were wounded in Monday's shooting at the police training center on the outskirts of the Jordanian capital, adding that one of the wounded is in critical condition. Momani portrayed the shooting as a crime and said an investigation has been launched. The U.S. Embassy had no immediate comment.

Three suffer life-threatening injuries following weekend crash
State police say three people have suffered life-threatening injuries in a rollover crash in Salem. It happened yesterday morning. Authorities say an SUV was heading south on Interstate 93 in Salem when the driver lost control of the vehicle. It crashed into a guardrail, before overturning several times and landing on its roof. State police have not released the names of the victims.

Muslim leaders face struggles in NH
Muslim leaders trying to build New Hampshire's first mosque face many of the same struggles other houses of worship contend with: Lack of funds and shrinking attendance. The Islamic Society of New Hampshire also has had to overcome another hurdle: Opposition from people afraid a mosque will attract dangerous extremists. A decade after work began, the society has raised about $2 million for the project.
