Trump gets the center position because he's ranked No. 1 in recent public polls. And the other top-ranked Republicans join him. The seven least popular GOP candidates will take part in a pre-debate forum.

Circus operator saddened by tragedy
The operator of the circus says on its Facebook page that the cast and crew are shocked by the deadly tent collapse on Monday night. Florida-based Walker International Events Incorporated has canceled two shows in Vermont and its remaining eight shows in New Hampshire.

Exec. Council rejects Planned Parenthood funding
The Republican-led Executive Council has rejected $639,000 in state funding for Planned Parenthood along party lines. Yesterday's vote comes amid a renewed national debate over whether the organization should receive public money. The five-member council took up Planned Parenthood funding as part of roughly $1 million in state contracts with four health providers for family planning services.
