Southwest delays
Passengers flying Southwest Airlines are being advised to get to the airport early and bring along pre-printed boarding passes. The Dallas-based company says it's using back-up systems around the country to check-in travelers lacking printed or mobile boarding passes but technology problems that began Sunday morning continue, delaying hundreds of flights. Representatives for Southwest did not say what caused the problem or how long it would take to resolve.

State Police cruiser struck
New Hampshire State Police were notified Sunday afternoon of a vehicle operating erratically in I-93. Moments later, the car struck the rear of a police cruiser. State Police Sergeant Victor Muzzey was sitting in his cruiser parked on the side of road conducting a traffic stop in Thornton when the cruiser was struck by a car driven by 62 year old Katherine Dangelo of Lincoln.After the collision, Danelo’s vehicle went off the road and into the tree line.Both Dangelo and Sergeant Muzzey were treated for minor injuries. Authorities determined that Dangelo was under the influence of controlled medication and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated. She is free on bail pending a court appearance.

Two arrested in connection with house fire in Maine
The Maine State Fire Marshal’s Office has arrested two men in connection with a house fire last year in Perry. 35 year old Scott MacNichol is charged with 2 counts of Arson and one count of Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Arson. 36 year old Jeffrey Morrison was charged with 2 counts of Arson, one count of Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Arson, Perjury and Insurance Deception.MacNichol serves as a member of the Board of Selectmen in Perry. Officials say the two friends were involved with a fire in April of 2014 that destroyed a vacant single family home owned by Morrison. The fire was set to collect insurance proceeds. No one was injured in the blaze.Both men are free on bail and face court hearings on the charges.
