A Burlington, Massachusetts, man reportedly mixed a dangerous level of intoxication, gasoline, and nudity into a bizarre burglary incident this week.

Tuesday was a wild afternoon in Tyngsboro, Mass for a 45 year-old man who allegedy trashed one boat and doused it in gasoline before freeing it from the dock.

Oh, and he was allegedly intoxicated...and naked.

According to the Lowell Sun, the man was hospitalized after he was caught trying to take two boats docked on the banks of the Merrimack River behind Johnson Automotive.

Shortly after noon on Tuesday, Eric Johnson says he received a call from a neighbor about a naked man walking around the area behind his shop, where he had a boat docked. It was there he allegedly encountered the man with "not a stitch of clothing on," Johnson said.

According to the Lowell Sun, Johnson also noticed the naked man attempting to untie his other boat, which was a canoe. The owner of the boats and the auto shop said the naked man trashed one boat and doused it in gasoline before freeing it from the dock.

Police were called after Johnson confronted the man, who wan't making any sense, according to Johnson. When police arrived, the man jumped into the river and tried to swim away.

Authorities scooped him downstream and returned to shore, police said. He was then transported to Lowell General Hospital.

Lowell Sun reported that he will be issued a summons for malicious destruction of property over $1,200, furnishing a false identification to law enforcement and larceny over $1,200, police said.
