The Beara Irish Brewing Company in Portsmouth will soon debut the 'Maloney 260 Ale,' to honor slain Greenland Police Chief, Michael Maloney.
According to Seacoast Online, the limited edition strong brew ale will be brewed by Beara Irish Brewing at 2800 Lafayette Road in partnership with the Chief Michael Maloney Memorial Fund. 

Chief Michael Maloney was killed in the line of duty in April, 2012. The Chief Michael Maloney Fund was set up to provide: 'charitable services to the Seacoast of New Hampshire's First Responders and is dedicated to fostering public safety through community enrichment projects, education and outreach.'

25% of the proceeds of the brew's sales in the taproom will go toward the fund. There is a 'Maloney 260 Ale' release party scheduled for Friday, July 10th at the Beara Irish Brewing Company's taproom beginning at 6pm.
