Seacoastonline is reporting Jim and Diane Stilian, Dave Dalton and his sister Susan Garland will join forces to open Sawbelly Brewing in Exeter.

Dave and Jim go way back learning the homebrew process together, according to Seacoastonline, and Sawbelly’s will start out with 6 beers in rotation on tap and expand to 12 as the business grows.

They will be using locally sourced ingredients for their brew and will be keeping it fresh changing up four to five times a year, the article stated.

Upon opening, they will be offering Sawbelly’s beer in a 32 ounce can nicknamed “crowlers” for customers to enjoy at home, according to Seacoastonline.com.

But it won’t just be about the beer.

Seacoastonline reports that former head chef of The Wilder in Portsmouth will be preparing the unique appetizers, mostly specialty pickles.  The whole team is passionate about using locally sourced ingredients including meats so it will be interesting to see what they cook up.

Sawbelly will be a nice fit for the Epping Road corridor in Exeter will lots of new development popping up.  Cheers!
