Whether you're a Chick-fil-A fan or not, either because you love their chicken sandwiches or prefer to put your money elsewhere because of their controversial views, the restaurant has the #1 chicken sandwich in the country, according to Eat This, Not That.

That said, Chick-fil-A continue to open new stores, with the latest New England store opening in Newington on the New Hampshire Seacoast in the Portsmouth area.  According to Yahoo, this is the year it's set to take over a Japanese restaurant that's been sitting empty for a long time right next to the Fox Run Mall.

Anyway, it's the the famous chicken sandwich and nuggets, along with seamless drive-thru service, that keep those long lines moving.  Have you ever seen a Chick-fil-A drive-thru not packed?  I haven't.

So what's the chance you'll try their newest sandwich that's being tested right now in Denver, Colorado, Charleston, South Carolina, and Greensboro, North Carolina, especially because it's not even chicken?  According to Chick-fil-A, its test sandwich looks like a stunt double to the original chicken sandwich, but it's cauliflower.

Chick-fil-A is going all veggie with its first plant-forward entrée called the Chick-fil-A Cauliflower Sandwich.  It's even prepared the same way as the chicken sandwich, according to Chick-fil-A.  It's marinated, breaded with a signature seasoning, pressure-cooked, then served on a toasted, buttery bun with two dill pickle chips.

Chick-fil-A adds that milk and eggs are used in the prep process, so although it's plant-based, it's not a vegan option.

Do you think it will make it?  I do.
