New Hampshire-Area Kohl’s Could Be Making Room for Planet Fitness

Some of your New Hampshire area Kohl's locations could be joining forces with NH-based Planet Fitness!

Kohl's announced earlier this week that some of its stores will begin to lease space to New Hampshire-based Planet Fitness. Kohl's will start to shrink the size of some of their stores so Planet Fitness can open up gyms that will be somewhere around 20,000 to 25,000 square feet.

According to USA Today Kohl's will kick-off this experiment in 10 locations this year with more hopefully to follow. It's not yet known where these locations will be. You may already know that Kohl's has teamed up with grocery store, Aldi to lease out space and a Chicago area Kohl's has rented space to WW (formerly Weight Watchers) for meeting space. The retail company is also now selling workout clothes and gear from the likes of Under Armour and Fit Bit.
