New Hampshire Brewery Teams Up With Operation Delta Dog for New IPA
When a brewery that you love teams up with a local nonprofit that you love to create an IPA, the results are delicious!
Smuttynose, based out of Hampton, New Hampshire, has teamed up with Operation Delta Dog for their new "Operation Delta Dog IPA". Operation Delta Dog is a Hollis, New Hampshire-based nonprofit with a unique and important mission: to rescue homeless dogs and train them to become service dogs for Veterans with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Military Sexual Trauma (MST), and other related challenges
If you are into IPAs, your tastebuds will rejoice upon tasting this unique blend of Amarillo, Simcoe, Calypso, and Cascade hops with notes of citrus and pine. It has been described as a modern take on a West Coast IPA, bold in both flavor and aroma with a hoppy bitterness that's balanced by the full malty backbone.
Chris Hamer, the Creative Director at Smuttynose said:
“Smuttynose knows there are some things for which their support is unwavering - Veterans and rescue dogs being two of those. So, when an opportunity presented itself to partner with an organization working tirelessly to improve the quality of lifeor both, we jumped at the chance.”
Grab a sixer of Operation Delta Dog IPA at your select local retailers for a limited time. A portion of every sale will be donated towards helping Operation Delta Dog’s mission in providing long-term support and services at no cost to the Veteran. Every person that reaches for an Operation Delta Dog IPA will be helping a Veteran receive much-needed help through their service dog, so do the right thing and drink up!
