Hampton Beach, New Hampshire Children’s Festival Brings Free Fun, Animals, And Parades All Week

Once again this year, Hampton Beach presents the Children's Festival, organized by our friends at the Hampton Area Chamber of Commerce!  It's a week long schedule of events to keep your kids occupied and very entertained.  They will win some great prizes and see some great entertainment like exotic animals and magic shows.

Children's Week is August 17 - 21, 2026

The Hampton Beach Children's Festival is Free for All

Every day, there will be a raffle at 12noon for some great prizes all sponsored by the Hampton Beach Casino.

Monday is Puppy Party Day!

On Monday, among other things that day, Magician BJ Hickman will be entertaining the kids as he's been doing for years and years.  BJ is scheduled for 10am.  At 12:30pm, the NHSPCA will be bringing the PUPPY PARTY to the beach!

Touch a Truck on Tuesday!

On Tuesday, at 3pm, it's the annual Touch a Truck event featuring  local Fire and Police trucks.  If you have a kid who is obssessed with fire trucks, you can't miss this event.  The kids can talk to the first responders, sit in their seats and hear all the sounds.

Boogie Board Wednesday is So Much Fun

On Wednesday, the highlight of the day is the Boogie Board contest!  Bring your own boogie board and compete to win prizes!  The Life Guards at Hampton Beach are some of the best in the country, so they keep everything organized and safe for all!

Thursday is When They Give Away The Big Bear

On Thursday,one of the highlights of Children's Week is Wildlife Encounters at 10am on the stage with all kinds of cool, exotic animals that the kids can get up close to, touch and sometimes even hold!

Friday is the Big Costume Parade

On Friday, it's the Big Costume Parade for the kids.  This is really fun to see.  Families sometimes come all dressed up the same.  The costumes are very creative, but whatever the case may be, every kid who participates gets a prize!
