With the current political climate in our country, it is more important than ever to have businesses where everyone feels welcome.

Ideally, this would be the vibe at every business that exists but sadly that is not the case.

At Teatotaller in Concord and Dover, New Hampshire, people are not only accepted for whatever their sexual orientation, gender identity, race, religion, etc, but their differences are embraced and celebrated.

For many customers, Teatoaller has become an oasis and a safe haven for self-expression. In a state that isn't known for its loud, proud, LGBTQ+ scene, Teatotaller is more than a place to pick up a pastry and a Boba tea, it makes people on the LGBTQ+ spectrum feel less alone.

Teatotaller had been teasing on their socials that they had some huge news.

They added the first 100 people to comment on their post to their "close friends" circle and they were the first to learn the skinny.

Now the news has been leaked to the general public and it's a big freakin' deal! The hype was real!

Teatotaller has been selected for the Human Rights Campaign "Queer to Stay" business award. The award is in partnership with Paramount Plus and Showtime, NO BIG DEAL!!!

What is the The “Queer to Stay” initiative?

This initiative launched in 2020 when the Human Rights Campaign identified 10 LGBTQ+ small businesses across the country and made significant donations to each business. The Queer to Stay program emphasizes the importance role these LGBTQ+ businesses play and aims to uplift these operations by providing them with the resources they need to continue making an impact in their communities.

Congrats to Emmett Soldati and the whole Teatotaller family for this important and prestigious award. I can't wait to see Teatotaller reach new heights after this well-deserved recognition! Keep up the great work.
