New Hampshire Lowe’s Employees Step up For Our Community
I love me some Lowe's! There was one point where we were shouting out Lowe's on our morning show on a daily basis. You might be thinking to yourself, is there really that much to say about Lowe's? Well, when my co host Logan was in the throws of his home renovation he was going to Lowe's sometimes multiple times a day (the Greenland, New Hampshire, location). It was truly his home away from home (and unlike his home, they actually had heat!)
We always talk about the amazing customer service and the fact that Lowe's is the GOAT when it comes to home improvement stores. (no shade, Home Depot)
We also love talking about people doing good things in our community and wouldn't you know, Robyn Welch the Store Manager for the Lowe's Store in Greenland New Hampshire reached out to tell us something really cool the New Hampshire Lowe's employees are doing.
What is Lowe's Hometown Heroes project?
According to their website, Lowe’s is investing $100 million to restore and revitalize community spaces across the country through Lowe’s Hometowns. Each year through 2026 Lowe’s selects 100 large-scale community projects, chosen from consumer nominations, to be completed in partnership with local nonprofits, Lowe’s store associates and community volunteers. Additionally, nearly 1,700 additional projects are selected and completed by Lowe’s associates across the country.
In spirit of Lowe's Hometown Heroes project, 15 Years ago, Lowes provided Little Harbor Elementary school in Portsmouth with a grant to help them build a community garden. As you can imagine, time has taken its toll on the garden, and it has become a safety hazard for the children to work in there.
The Greenland and Seabrook, New Hampshire stores are coming together and utilizing their funds from their Hometown Heroes Project and will be providing them with an updated garden.

Associates from all across the New Hampshire District will come together, on their own time, to assist with building the new garden beds. They will be there tomorrow (Wednesday) from 9am - 2 pm volunteering.
Robyn was kind enough to loop us in she believes this garden is amazing for their school's community and Lowe's is thrilled to be part of such an amazing project.
