A few of the newest places to debut in New Hampshire in April 2026 are expansions of popular restaurants.

We're talking the third and seventh Granite State locations for Bad Brgr and Evviva Trattoria, respectively.

Meanwhile, you've got a pizza place that moved into Clam Haven in Derry, an iconic and legendary seasonal restaurant that announced its closure after over 70 years in business.

Did you know that Becks Public House in Windham used to be Old School Bar & Grill? It got a revamp and renovation, transforming into a new establishment.

In a Facebook post about the transition, the restaurant shared: "Becks Public House will be a warm, welcoming gathering place inspired by the timeless charm of a Boston brownstone pub—classic, comfortable, and rooted in connection. The menu will feature elevated, chef-driven comfort food alongside curated craft beers and cocktails, including grilled meats, locally sourced seafood, signature smash burgers, and refined pub classics. And yes—many Old School favorites, especially our beloved steak tips, will remain."

As they say, even if one door closes, new ones open.

And look, the restaurant business is hard, so I'm always going to root for new places to find success. Plus, it's a great thing for a local spot to not only succeed but to also find longevity and community, potentially turning it into a staple for years to come.
