New President Named At UNH

(Durham, NH) - James W. Dean Junior will become the 20th President of the University in June.

UNH Trustees voted unanimously to appoint Dean to the position, effective June 30th.

Dean will fill the seat that will be vacated by Mark Huddleston, who steps down after 11 years leading UNH.

Dean is a Professor of Organizational Behavior and has most recently served as Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Dean will visit the 3 campuses of the University next week.
