Changes are coming to the design and placement of your vehicle's inspection sticker!

The New Hampshire Division of Motor Vehicles announced that the look and location of the state's inspection stickers will soon change.

Beginning October 1st, the stickers will now have to be affixed to the lower, driver side corner of your vehicle's windshield.

The DMV says the change is being made due to many newer model vehicles being equipped with crash avoidance technology located in the area where inspection stickers are currently affixed.

The New Hampshire DMV has also redesigned the existing sticker. The new inspection stickers will have both the month and year of expiration printed on them and will contain several new security features including a hologram backer.

Certain vehicles, such as motorcycles, will continue to utilize the current inspection stickers.
