The 4th of July is always a time for fireworks, but this year especially because it's our 250th birthday!  That's a lot of sparklers.  We have some great spots to check out all over the state.

If you decide to go see one of these displays with your four-legged family member, remember that dogs are usually not big fans of fireworks.  Their hearing is much more sensitive that ours, so you might want to keep them on a lease so they don't freak out and run.

Here are 10 places around NH planning a 4th of July Celebration

Nashua, Saturday, July 4 @ dusk at Holman Stadium, 67 Amherst Street.

We'll start with my hometown. The Gate City is planning an all day celebration with the big fireworks display at dusk at historic Holman Stadium.  Make sure you get there early enough to catch the Spartan's Band before the big booms begin.

Rochester, July 11, 2026 at the Lilac Fun Festival at Spaulding High School and James W. Foley Community Center.  The rain date is July 12, 2026.

Dover, Thursday, July 2, around 9:15pm at Garrison Hill Tower.  They can be seen anywhere in the city.  The rain date is July 10.

Concord, July 4 at 9:20pm -ish at Memorial Field, 70 South Fruit Street.  Rain date is Sunday, July 5th.

 

Portsmouth, July 3, 2026 at South Mill Pond around dusk.

Salem has two opportunities for you to see the fireworks; at Canobie Lake Park on July 4, 2026 and more at the Tuscan Village on Thursday, July 2.

Hampton Beach fireworks are back on Saturday, July 4 at around 9:30pm at 169 Ocean Boulevard at the top of B & C streets.

Plymouth fireworks are happening at DCR Pilgrim Memorial State Park including Burial Hill and Nelson Park on Saturday, July 4, 2026.

Derry will have fireworks on Saturday, July 4 at dusk, around 9pm, at Hood Middle School / Adams Memorial Field area.

Wolfeboro fireworks will be on Saturday, July 4 over Wolfeboro Bay, (beautiful!) around dusk at 9:30-ish.
