NH Officer, K9 Partner Win National Award!
Kudos to Officer Keith MacKenzie and his K9 partner, Daisy Mae, from the Strafford County Sheriff's Department.
The dynamic duo was awarded the 'Patrol Case of the Year' from the United States Police Canine Association. The honor was bestowed up MacKenzie and Daisy Mae for tracking down Jesse Marquis in St. Francis Maine back in June of 2014. Marquis had been on the run for six days. He was wanted in connection to the shooting and stabbing death of his girlfriend, Amy Theriault.
Not only are Keith and Daisy Mae part of the Strafford County Sheriff's Department, they're also part of the Working Dog Foundation.
As many of you know, Mark Ericson has been involved with the Working Dog Foundation for many years (currently, chairman of the Board of Directors).
