Looking for something to do this weekend? Why not join the Paws Walk this Sunday, June 7, 2026?

Not only could it make a difference in the lives of animals across New Hampshire, but you'll be able to enjoy the fresh air while in the company of furry friends!

The NH SPCA's annual Paws Walk is returning to Stratham Hill Park, bringing together animal lovers from across the Granite State for a morning of walking, fundraising, and celebrating the pets that make our lives better.

The event helps raise funds that support animals waiting for their second chance.

Throughout the day, attendees can enjoy vendors, opportunities to meet adoptable dogs (wink, wink...), farm animals, and plenty of fellow pet lovers who share a passion for helping animals in need.

As the owner of a rescue dog, this event hits close to home.

My dog came all the way from Tennessee, and bringing her into our family completely changed my perspective on pet adoption.

Like many rescue animals, she simply needed someone to give her a chance. What she has given back in return has been far greater than anything I could have imagined.

Rescue dogs don't care where you've been, what kind of day you're having, or whether you've made mistakes. They just want to be loved. They want a warm place to sleep, car rides and a family to belong to.

That's why events like Paws Walk matter!

Any funds raised will help provide care, shelter, medical treatment, and support for animals waiting to find their forever homes. For many of these pets, it can mean the difference between uncertainty and a future filled with love.

Even if you're not currently looking to adopt, attending the walk is a great way to support the mission and spend a beautiful Sunday surrounded by people who believe every animal deserves a chance.
