When lived in Hollis, Maine, I took my boys fishing all of the time. So I got used to seeing the Fish and Game Conservation officers. Imagine my surprise a few years ago when I turned on the TV and there are some of the same officers on a show called North Woods Law.

My boys and I love watching this show. The best part was recognizing spots around Hollis, and across the state, that we were familiar with. On one occasion we even knew someone the officers were looking for!

Well the new season of North Woods Law featuring New Hampshire Fish and Game conservation officers is set to premier this weekend. And to get everyone hyped for the new season, a few of the conservation officers who appear on the show made an appearance before last night's New Hampshire Fisher Cats game.

According to WMUR-TV, fans lined up an hour before the game, with lines stretching the length of the concourse on the third baseline just to shake hands and take a selfie with the officers turned TV stars.

The season premiere is this Sunday night at 9 on Animal Planet.
