Now That’s What I Call An Overdue Library Book!

(Attleboro, Mass. ) - A book has been returned to the Attleboro Public Library after being checked out almost 79 years ago.

An Attleboro resident was cleaning out a friends basement and came across the book that was checked out from the library and was due back on November 21, 1938.

The library was pleased to get the book back, although it's condition will not allow it back into circulation.

The library will not try to collect the late fees, which total about $2,800.
