With me being still fairly new in town, I love to check out the restaurants that are new to me.

I had no idea that there were so many great places.

I saw this article at fosters.com about a new restaurant coming to South Berwick Maine, and I'm looking forward to "sampling" the menu. And by "sampling" I mean eating my way through that bad boy.

Greg and Kristin Sessler are paying homage to the 1845 fraternal group Independent Order of Odd Fellows with their new building.  It has been a fish market, auto parts shop and a place that sold marble tombstones. Now it will be a restaurant called Odd Fellows Tavern.

The menu??

Pizza, nachos, wings and comfort homemade American dishes from chicken and waffles to fish and chips to bourbon brown sugar brined pork chops, according to the newspaper.  They even hired a specialty wood fire pizza chef to go with the big draw of the place the brick oven that's open to the dining room.

Soooo, when is Odd Fellows opening?

Looks like middle of this month, according to Fosters!  Hours are Wednesday - Sunday.  Happy hour starts at 3pm and dinner at 5pm.

If you hear a guy talking funny in a southern accent saying things like, "Ya'll have any of that pizza with prosciutto and stuff on it left?"...It'll probably be me.
