Open Casting Call For Adam Sandler Movie Filming On North Shore

The casting call, scheduled for Saturday might require a costume to stand out. "The theme is Halloween. Feel free to come in original costumes."

According to the Lynnfield Patch, mega movie star, and New Hampshire native Adam Sandler will be shooting a film this summer in Danvers and other North Shore locations.

What does it take to be in an Adam Sandler movie? Being yourself, apparently. Per a release , producers will look for actors, models and talent between the ages of 5 and 95 and "all shapes/sizes" from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at the Marblehead Community Center at 10 Humphrey Street in Marblehead.

The project is currently titled "Hubie Halloween," and is described  good-natured but eccentric community volunteer finds himself at the center of a real murder case on Halloween night."

The movie will be on Netflix, and extras are listed as "paid" in the casting call notice.
