New England Patriots Coach Mike Vrabel at Tilton House of Pizza

Just a few days before New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel joined Drake Maye for the quarterbacks' inaugural "Mayeday" Celebrity Softball Classic in Massachusetts, he was spotted at a New Hampshire pizza place.

The former linebacker was grabbing a bite to eat at Tilton House of Pizza in Tilton, New Hampshire, on Friday, May 29.

Think he had a slice or two for his dinner? I wonder what he'd recommend people get there?

Tilton Northfield Little League shared on its Facebook page a photo of some of its players excitedly smiling next to Vrabel.

The New England football coach was kind enough to take a moment from his meal to grab a quick pic with the young baseball players.

How awesome it must have been for these boys to see a sports star right in their hometown, and he was willing to take a photo with them. Definitely a memorable night for them, for sure.

Tilton House of Pizza Named the Best Pizza in New Hampshire

Do you think Vrabel heard that LoveFood named Tilton House of Pizza the best pizza place in New Hampshire, and that's why he stopped in? The food website even noted it's the best pizza in all of New England. (Take that debate to the comments!)

According to NHPR, THOP has been around for nearly 30 years with a "cafeteria-meets-family restaurant vibe" and serves up Greek-style pizza.

One of the owners of the Tilton pizza place told NHPR, "We take pride that we’ve heard from those that’ve said ‘we’ve driven by you 100 times and we thought House of Pizza was just a typical House of Pizza.’ One person lived in town for about a dozen years before he tried us out, and now he’s in here two to three times per week."

And the Yelp and Google reviews put it at nearly a 5 out of 5, with comments like "favorite pizza I have ever eaten in my life" or "It's just perfect. It's crunchy, chewy, and the toppings were phenomenal."

This one really makes you want to stop in: "I love this place! I literally drive an hour to get food from here. Every bite is delicious from beginning to end. What makes it even better is the customer service and the love that they pour into their food. I wish every establishment could replicate this business. They give you a warm feeling like your family."

Maybe he came for the Greek pizza. Perhaps it was the glowing reviews. Or it could just be because he was feeling hungry. Either way, Vrabel chose one of New Hampshire's most beloved pizza spots for his meal.

And those Little Leaguers? Well, their ordinary night at Tilton House of Pizza turned into one they'll likely never forget.
