Pedestrian Seriously Injured In Rochester Accident
(Rochester, NH) - A pedestrian suffered serious injuries when he was struck by a tractor-trailer rig in on Route 108 in Rochester this morning.
Rochester Police say the man stepped into the path of the northbound rig around 6:15 this morning. The accident , near Profile Apartments, closed Rochester Hill Road for several hours.
Police have not released the name of the victim, who was airlifted to Maine Medical Center in Portland.
The driver of the tractor-trailer rig, 60 year old Timothy McCormick of Nottingham, was not injured.
Police are continuing their investigation into the accident.
