Now this is something I need to get my hands on. Lobster Lotion!

Let's talk about it, shall we?

Marin Skincare is coming in hot with this iconic new lotion that is locally inspired by the state of Maine's favorite mascot. This is a very unique and rare scent, and I can say that all of us are very curious as to what this aroma will smell like.

According to WABI, this new lobster cream is made with lobster protein.

So my question is, does it smell like lobster?

I bet lobster protein is wicked good for you, bub.

This is sold at L.L. Bean’s Freeport store. Marin Skincare lets everyone know on their Facebook page that they've sold 70 percent of their products on their very first order to Beans.

Selling like hot cakes, or should I say hot lobsters?

CEO Patrick Breeding told WABI,

“When we developed Marin, the goal was to help as many people as possible with a product we knew could be a game changer. Having our soothing hydration cream available to customers at L.L.Bean is an exciting step forward in our company’s growth that stays true to our roots.”

But how does Marin Skincare get the lobster? Well, they've partnered up with Portland Seafood Company Luke's Lobster and they're able to process the fluid that they use in the cream from the lobster. Before this happened, all that fluid would have been thrown away. But Marin Skincare is using it.

I'm not sure if I'll try it. Would you? Do you love lobster that much?
