11 Haunted Attractions to Visit in New Hampshire for 2026
Looking to get scared this Halloween season?
There's a variety of haunted attractions in New Hampshire you can bravely visit in October, including theme park scares, a creepy corn maze at night, a walk through the woods, and a massive immersive experience that'll have you second-guessing every shadow and sound.
We've rounded up 11 of them that will likely make you want to keep the lights on when you're done.
What Are Some Haunted Events and Attractions in New Hampshire?
I've always enjoyed a few good scares and an adrenaline rush when it comes to some movies ("30 Days of Night," "The Conjuring") and video games ("Resident Evil," "Dying Light"), but I haven't been brave enough to go the live and in-person route.
Maybe this year?
It really turns that evening stroll into the woods into a completely different experience. Yes, that might actually be a scary clown watching you from behind the tree. Yes, that creepy howling sound is definitely real.
Some of these haunted attractions have been bringing the frightening fun for multiple years.
According to a Facebook post, Fright Kingdom in Nashua has been around for over 20 years, and Spooky World's website noted that it began back in 1991 in Massachusetts before it found a permanent home in Litchfield.
Plus, each of these New Hampshire haunted events, while certainly focused on a scary good time, have plenty of differences to make each experience its own.
If you're looking for a haunted hayride, there's one. If you're looking to explore a creepy old theater, that's an option, too. If you want to see some truly massive monsters in the woods, consider that box ticked.
Let's take a look at some of the haunted attractions you can check out this year.

While most of the events are steeped in providing the ultimate scare, a few of them have some daytime options where kids can come along without being steeped in fear.
Haunted Overload in Lee is one example, which actually has three levels of scariness you can attend, per its website. Its Day Haunt is the one that allows you to see all the props and sets (which look stunning) without getting scared. It's during the day, of course, and doesn't feature any actors.
So which one are you looking to get scared at? Which one haven't you been to?
When you've marked these all off your list, maybe take a road trip a state over and see some of Maine's as well.
Just remember, checking the back seat before you pull out of the driveway is completely normal. Wait. Did you hear that? What was that sound?
