Storm recovery has been slow, as tens of thousands were left in the dark.

Many Granite State residents woke to another morning without power, and some could be in the dark until at least Thursday, according to an article in the Union Leader. Another early season snowstorm blanketed much of New Hampshire with wet heavy snow. The New Hampshire Electric Cooperative told the Union leader it likely would have several thousand customers without power until today (Wednesday) “and perhaps into Thursday.”

The storm, which began Monday night left many Eversource customers without power. According to the Union Leader, Eversource warned that some customers won’t get their power restored until at least today. The utility said it already restored power to more than 42,000 customers during a 14-hour stretch.

Your neighborhood is far from alone in the power department. Eversource’s outages were reportedly spread among more than 100 communities. Eversource spokesman Kaitlyn Woods said "We want our customers to be aware this is an extended power outage for some and our crews will continue working around the clock until all are restored.”
