The price of gas locally, is almost ten cents higher from this time last year.
This week's national average for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline is $2.21. That national average is one penny cheaper than last week.
Triple A of northern New England say the gasoline prices nationally, has dropped for six straight days, but the usual seasonal decline has stalled as prices have remained roughly the same since early September.

- New Hampshire’s current price is $2.18 per gallon, which is the same prime as one week ago and 8 cents higher than one year ago.
- Massachusetts current price is $2.20 per gallon, which is the same as price one week ago and 8 cents higher than one year ago.
