Tendercrop Farm Opens Fourth Location In Stratham, NH This Fall

If you love shopping local and filling your cart with fresh food, there’s a new spot coming to Stratham, New Hampshire that you’ll want to know about!

Tendercrop Farm (widely popular across Southern New Hampshire) is expanding to the Seacoast with a brand-new location at 57 Portsmouth Avenue, in the former Scamman’s Home & Garden Showplace. The new store is expected to open by the end of October, bringing the popular farm market to another corner of New Hampshire.

Excitement has flooded newest reports posted to social media with locals saying, “Yay!” and “Long live Tendercrop! I go there as much as possible.”

This will be Tendercrop Farm’s fourth location. The family-owned business currently has locations in Newbury and Wenham, Massachusetts, as well as its Dover location here in New Hampshire.

If you’ve never been to Tendercrop, think fresh produce, meats, poultry, baked goods, prepared foods and plenty of locally made goodies all under one roof.

My suggestion? Grab a bundle of their sunflowers for your kitchen table and a bowl of their mac n’ cheese!

The farm also has soups, salads, sandwiches, dips and other grab-and-go favorites.

The Stratham location is taking over a familiar Seacoast property. The former Scamman’s Home & Garden Showplace property, which sits on 6.5 acres and was sold in 2024. Now, Tendercrop is giving the space a whole new purpose while continuing its expansion across the region.
