Get ready downtown Rochester, the Halloween Spooktacular event is being held on October 25th this year.  Main Street in Rochester will be filled with goblins and ghouls and maybe even some Pokemon and a Batman or two on Friday, October 25 beginning at 4 pm.  The event is open to kids aged 10 and younger when kids can trick or treat and receive goodie bags.

Fosters.com is reporting on all the event details.  Families can get lists of participating businesses starting at the Union Street parking lot.  After the trick or treating, even more, fun begins at 7 pm with the Zombie Walk parade.  The Zombie Walk parade is open to kids, teens, and adults and will feature dancers from Studio 109, Corinnes’s School of Dance and Dance N Motion 2 according to Fosters.com.  If you are interested in participating, head over to Rochester Common by 5:45 pm.  And big thanks to the Rochester’s Spooktacular premier sponsor, Xfinity.  It sounds like a fun, safe community event.  Hopefully, we will see many superheroes, Hogwarts students and black cats.
