If you think winter is long and boring, think again.

The Igloos at the Rooftop at the Envio are a fun way to gather with friends and family, no matter what the weather is like.  The igloos are decorated in rich reds, called Fire, and cool whites, called Ice, with a heater in each dome to keep guests warm and cozy.

Last year, the igloos were a big hit with locals and visitors, so it's expected these cozy panoramic bubbles will book up quickly once they open on November 17.

If you're interested in reserving an igloo on the rooftop, go to rooftopportsmouth.com to make a date with an igloo. Be sure to bring some friends, because each igloo seats up to six people.

Reservations are for two hours and free on Mondays and Tuesdays, but you still need to sign up and order food and drinks during your appointed time.  It's $100 per reservation on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and it's $150 for a two-hour block on Fridays and Saturdays.  If you have six people go, that's $25 each for a fun day or night with the best view in the city.

Don't worry.  It's warm inside with two heaters and blankets.  Go ahead and try it.  You know you want to.  But, you can't make a reservation on OpenTable for the igloos, so call or email the Envio in Portsmouth to find your slot.  By the way, the fee is non-refundable.
