See Our Girl, Country Artist April Cushman, in Plaistow, NH

We love us some April Cushman! She is a friend of the station (a FOS as I like to call them), and has graced us with her talents for many WOKQ events over the years. She has opened for various music festivals, Kickin' Country Cruises, and even Kip Moore a few months back at 3S Arts Space.

She's a New Hampshire native (from Swanzey!) a singer, songwriter, goat mama, human mama, farmer, and all-around great human being. Her album "The Long Haul" went top 20 on the iTunes Country Music Charts when it was released in 2021, and she's gearing up to release new music soon. She is a powerhouse performer and a super talented songwriter.

Our girl has a show coming up THIS WEEKEND at the Timberlane Performing Arts Center in Plaistow, New Hampshire, on Saturday, October 8, at 7pm. She's bringing the whole damn band with her. She has Dino Monoxelous on bass, Mike Cafasso on drums, Leo Melanson on steel, mandolin, and banjo, and Miss Jessia Thamm on vocals.
