Those who have waited until this weekend to get a Christmas tree may have the ultimate backdrop for their annual pilgrimage, fresh snowfall.

According to Pinetreeweather.com, snow remains in the forecast for Friday into Saturday, but for now it appears to be light in nature. Whether the road crews will be required for a scrape or a sand, time will tell. The Old Farmers Almanac predicts snow showers and cold conditions for the days leading up to Christmas.

A dusting to an inch, or any falling snow while picking up a tree sets the perfect tone for decorating this weekend. If this storm stays the course, it doesn't appear they'll be the labor of shoveling/plowing. Instead, put on some Christmas music, sip hot cocoa or egg nog, and enjoy life as a Norman Rockwell painting.
