Spectacular Fireworks Displays Coming Back to New Hampshire Communities

For some Granite Staters (both human and canine), fireworks can be terrifying. Granted, that number (at least the human number) tends to be on the low side, as mostly everyone looks forward to gathering with family and friends to grill out and chill out during the day for the 4th of July, and capping the night off by watching fireworks.

Obviously, we were robbed of that last year, but we're in a much better spot now than we were at this point a year ago. COVID cases are dropping, vaccination numbers are growing, normalcy is somewhat in sight -- and that includes (mostly) getting our fireworks back for the 4th!

According to WMUR, the following New Hampshire communities WILL have fireworks this 4th of July:

Ashland (July 3 at dusk at Ashland Ball Field with a rain date of July 5), Bristol (July 3 at dusk over Newfound Lake with a rain date of July 4), Canterbury (July 3 at 9p at Canterbury Elementary), Center Harbor (July 4 at 9:15p over Center Harbor Bay), Claremont (July 4 at 9:30p at Monadnock Park), Concord (July 4 at 9:15p at Memorial Field with a rain date of July 5), Dover (July 4 at 9:15p at the top of Garrison Hill Park), Franconia (July 10 at dusk, location unknown as of writing), Gorham (July 3 at 10p, location unknown as of writing), Greenville (July 3 at 11:20p at the Town Field), Hampstead (June 26 at dusk at the town green behind town hall), Hampton (July 4 at 9:30p at Hampton Beach), Hillsboro (July 10 at 10p at the Fairgrounds), Jackson (July 2 at 9p at Jackson Village), Jefferson (July 2 at dusk at Waumbek Golf Course), Laconia (July 4 at 10p at Opechee Park), Lebanon (July 4 at 9:20p at Storrs Hill Ski Area), Lincoln (July 4 at dusk at Lincoln Town Hall), Manchester (July 4 after the Fishercats game at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium), Merrimack (July 4 at 9p at Merrimack High), Milford (July 2 at dusk at Keyes Memorial Park), Nashua (July 4 at 9p at Holman Stadium), New Boston (July 4 at 9:15p at Hillsborough County Youth Center Foundation fairgrounds), Ossipee (July 4 at 9:30p at Constitution Park), Pelham (June 26 at Village Green with a rain date of June 27 -- no time given, but dusk/9p-ish is always a good guess), Raymond (July 9 at 9:30p at Town Common), Rochester (July 3 at 9:30p at Rochester Community Center with a rain date of July 5), Salem (July 3 at 9p at Lake Park at Tuscan Village), Sandwich (July 3 at dusk at the Fairgrounds), Sunapee (July 3 at dusk at Sunapee Harbor), Tamworth (July 2 at dusk, location unknown as of writing), Wakefield (July 2 at dusk at the ballpark), Waterville Valley (July 4 at 9p over Corcoran Pond), Weare (July 17 at dusk at the Town Center), Windham (June 30 at 9:30p at Windham High with a rain date of July 1), and Wolfeboro (July 2 at 9:30p over Wolfeboro Bay).

Some towns (like Salem and Berlin) are unknown, although they have neighboring towns minutes away (like Windham and Gorham, respectively) where they could still head out to see a fireworks display. As of now, there's only one known cancellation -- Amherst. Instead, according to WMUR, they'll offer a reverse parade as opposed to fireworks.
